Gianna Elliot is an Associate Attorney in the New York City office of the Marsh Law Firm PLLC. Gianna passionately advocates for survivors of sexual abuse and discrimination. Her focus is to help her clients
secure justice by holding institutions and individuals, who inflict and enable the abuse, accountable. Gianna’s practice areas include representing survivors of childhood sexual assault, child pornography, and campus sexual abuse, harassment, and retaliation. Gianna is a former Prosecutor at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, where she handled sensitive casework and prosecuted and assisted in an extensive array of criminal matters involving domestic violence, sexual misconduct, forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child, felony assault and sexual abuse.

Her focus is to help her clients secure justice by holding institutions and individuals, who inflict and enable the abuse, accountable. Gianna’s practice areas include representing survivors of childhood sexual assault, child pornography, and campus sexual abuse, harassment, and retaliation.
Prior to joining Marsh Law firm, Gianna worked at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, where she handled sensitive casework and prosecuted and assisted in an extensive array of criminal matters involving domestic violence, sexual misconduct, forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child, felony assault and sexual abuse. While at the DA’s Office, Gianna successfully litigated multiple jury and bench trials.
Gianna earned her Juris Doctorate from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Upon graduating, she was the recipient of the New York City Trial Lawyers Alliance Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. While at Hofstra Law, Gianna was an Associate Editor of the Hofstra Law Review, President and Secretary of Staff of the Hofstra Trial Advocacy Association, a Child and Family Advocacy Fellow, and a member of the Courtroom Advocates Project and Association of Family and Conciliation Courts Student Task Force. Gianna earned her bachelor’s degree at St. Joseph’s College with cum laude honors in Criminal Justice.
Prior to law school, Gianna worked as a Court Advocate for LI Against Domestic Violence, where she advocated for survivors of domestic violence in Family and Criminal Court. She assisted her clients with filing for orders of protection, navigating the court system, crisis intervention and safety planning.
