The issue of campus sexual violence has reached Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs. During the next week, the school administration is expected to decide whether a male student who was found to have violated the school’s sexual misconduct policy will be allowed to re-enroll. He was suspended for a year amid accusations he raped a female student.
Jacob Reiskin, editor-in-chief of the campus newspaper, Skidmore News, said students are calling for the male student to be suspended — but the school’s policy doesn’t require it.
